I wanted to post a quick update to my nut allergy post from yesterday. Today I received a call from the general manager of the Red Robin I visited on Saturday, where I had a minor reaction to their Ensenada Chicken Platter. (I just sent an email through their main website yesterday, so I am impressed over the quick response.) He apologized, and he let me know that they do have a list of menu items that contain some of the most common allergens, including peanuts and tree nuts, and to be sure to ask for it when I come in. He also dropped a $20 gift card in the mail to me. So I must say I have softened a bit on my opinion of Red Robin from yesterday. I still am a bit bent out of shape regarding the corporate website wording, but the GM was very nice over the phone. Yes I can be bought! :) Just thought I'd pass that info along
